General Terms of Commerce for the State Operetta Dresden (extract)
§2 Opening hours and admission
By the time the performance starts late comers can no longer claim the specific seats on their tickets. The theatre may offer alternative seats in other price categories in order not to disturb other customers. Once the performance has started late comers will only be allowed entrance to the theatre at times when other customers or the whole performance is not disturbed.
§4 Ticket sale and reservation
4.2. Redemption of tickets
The State Operetta Dresden cannot be forced to refund tickets or gift certificates which have been payed in advance. All customers can offer any tickets he does not need up to 2 days before the performance on commission basis. For all tickets sold on commission we charge a fee of 1,00 € per ticket.
All refunds for tickets sold on commission are solely payed in cash.
In the case of a change in schedule which differs from the timetable for the current month all tickets can be refunded before the start of the show.
Should shows be cancelled due to strike or a force majeure tickets will not be refunded.
Should delays of more than 40 minutes occur tickets can be returned and will be fully refunded. Later on or after the show a refund is not possible. Should the show be terminated tickets can only be refunded when less than half of the show has been played before. Refunds can only be transferred to a national bank account.
§6 Wardrobe
There is no charge for wardrobe. Coats, bulky jackets, umbrellas, backpacks and other bulky objects with the exception of canes may not be taken into the auditorium.
§8 Audio-, film-, photo and video recordings
It is strictly prohibited to take pictures or film the performance or make audio recordings. In case of violation of these rules the theatre staff is authorized to withhold recording equipment and cameras until the end of the show.
§11 Liability/Compensation
The theatre accepts no liability for damages of any kind (including body damages) whatsoever if the theatre or its staff have not acted deliberately or wantonly negligent.
13 Applicable law/Place of fulfillment and court of jurisdiction/Severability clause
The German law is applicable. Place of fulfillment and court of jurisdiction for all claims resulting from the business connection of theatre and customer is Dresden.
